Many drive by the sign and wonder what it’s like to go back inside of the old Kayo’s Restaurant. They would be surprsied to find a warm atmosphere with friendly service offering home cooked meals at reasonable prices. Laurie dreamed of opening up her own restautant and she did so during the hardest times Bend ever had which was Covid. She survived the pandemic and is still open ready to serve hungry patrons.
To her suprise, Laurie has found that there is a steady flow of customers that are interested in a home cooked meal from scratch. Her business came from nothing and brings happiness and joy back to Bend after life’s struggles.
